高橋ダン English Chanel をカタカナ母音で紹介 - 来週の展望 -（7月12日分）

このブログでは、カタカナ母音を使って発音記号を「カタカナで見える化」し、英語を紹介しています。英語には実は母音が25種類もあります。従来、発音記号でしか表記できなかった25種類の母音をカタカナ母音で見える化しているので、英語の発音がわからないという人はぜひチェックしてみてください！
今日は高橋ダンさんという youtuber の動画をご紹介します。ダンさんはもともとウォール街でトレーダーをしていて、現在は日本をベースに活躍されています。
ダンさんはアメリカ事情に詳しく、動画では投資、経済、国際社会について、日本であまり報道されない記事も取り上げつつ、日本との比較も交えながら解説していて、とても勉強になります。
特筆すべきは、動画の内容もさることながら、英語版でも配信してくれている点です。英語が不安な人は日本語の動画で内容を把握してから英語版を見るのも一案だと思います。
動画を見ながらシャドーイングするのがおすすめです。スクリプトがあったら便利だなと思い、テキストにしておきました。カタカナ母音も併記してありますので英語の発音が分からない人は活用してみてください！

Let’s move on to economic news. For this week ahead, obviously today's Sunday.
Nothing is announced but there will be a lot of news announced this week Monday through Friday.
Most importantly, I believe will be earnings coming out for a lot of US companies expectedly major US healthcare companies and banks, so Johnson & Johnson, JP Morgan Chase, Citigroup and Wells Fargo.
This will be a very good indicator of how companies have been performing during the 2nd quarter when coronavirus and lock-down was ensuing in a lot of different states throughout America.
Also at the same time, EU leaders will meet to discuss common recovery plan, central banks and Euro area, this is the ECB and Japan, BOJ, they will be deciding on interest rate policies.
And then important releases to be followed include US retail sales industrial production, UK jobs report, monthly GDP, China 2nd quarter GDP, Australian employment data.
So, also we see indeed consumer and wholesale prices.
A lot of data this week, the most important I think is gonna be actually earnings and central bank policy from the ECB and BOJ.
Of curse, it'll also be, China GDP figures will be interesting, but guys note that GDP is always looking backwards.
That's the previous 3 months, so it’s not really looking forward. It’s not really much of a forward indicator.
So those would be the most important economic news for the week.
