アメリカのバイデン次期大統領は20日、第46代大統領に就任します。通常ならお祝いムードに包まれますが、今回は異例の事態。暴動への警戒を強め、厳戒態勢が敷かれています。

inauguration は「就任、就任式」という意味のほかに建物などの「落成（式）、開館、開通」、事業などの「開始、発足」という意味もあります。
