heckって何？
heck は hellの婉曲語です。hell だと下品に聞こえたり、乱暴な言葉になってしまいますが、heck だとだいぶマイルドになり、「マジ」ぐらいの感じで、そこまで下品な言い方になりません。

発音
wɑt ðə hek
what の t を発音する際、舌を th の位置（歯と歯の間）に移動させておくとスムーズに発音できます。

使い方は簡単です。
what の代わりに what the heck を使うだけです。
